Raithal is a small, fairy-like village located in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. The cottage is located at 2250msl and has absolutely stunning views of the Himalayas range. The food eaten here is locally grown. Raithal is known for Dayara Bugyal, located at 3408m. It is an 8.5 km scenic trek all the way to the top. The fresh air, colors of nature and staying next to nature will bring you inner peace. There is no network available in the area but electricity is there and a TV. There are ample of treks in the area short and long, one of them is the famous rupin range trek. In summers, half a kilometer walk will take you to the rupin river for a swim, and in winters you will feel snow at you feet just outside the house. There is no market nearby just a local shop, all the basic amenities are available.
