So close to the village, yet set in the countryside there are lambs in Spring and apple trees next door. Eggs are laid by our own chooks, bread, muesli and preserves are homemade. We'll suggest places to visit and restaurants if you want to dine out. Cool off in the pool in summer or take an expertly led yoga class! Take a trip to Hastings or Napier or walk the miles of tracks in Te Mata Park. Ocean Beach is just 15 minutes away and the Sunday Farmers Market just 10!

River Cottage - set in Native Garden

Escape to our beautifully presented cottage, tucked away in a peaceful native garden that you'll share with the main house. You'll have your own private outdoor area to unwind in, complete with a BBQ and chiminea to create the perfect atmosphere for a glass of wine at the end of the day. It has it's own dedicated entrance with self check-in and parking as well as a pretty outdoor space to relax in. The shower is hot with brilliant pressure and the bed is super comfortable, probably two of the most important requirements when travelling.
