It is surrounded by parkland on the banks of the Shannon River and stands next to St Patrick's, the former parish church. The cottage has central heating, a shower room, toilet, a TV and broadband. It also has a fully equipped kitchen with a gas cooker, coffee machine, kettles, a washing machine and a fridge freezer.

Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Seven Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.

Nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of East Clare, retreat from the busyness of life to a unique experience in nature. It’s a really beautiful and comfortable space with trees and a small forest. A fantastic gateway for those looking to explore West Ireland and Atlantic coast line.
