"Merrywell" A 3 bedroom, stucco on stone historic house dating to the early 1900's. Although you might just want to stay in and enjoy the pastoral views of this conserved property in the Long Green Valley, it is a close drive to all the major attractions of the baltimore area, 10 miles west of Towson and just over the hill from Bordy Vineyard.

We have tubes to float down the Gunpowder River which winds around our property and is accessible by foot. The bike path is lovely! Inverness Brewery is located 5 minutes away, Starbright farm is a glorious lavender farm 15 minutes north, Boordy Vineyards, a family run winery, is 20 minutes east, and Ladew Toipiary Gardens is another gem to behold!

The Hen House Cottage is a tiny house located on an historic farm in central Maryland. It is surrounded by six acres of beautiful pasture and gardens. The Cottage has great light throughout the day, a well-equipped kitchen (microwave, oven, coffee grinder, coffee maker, large fridge, etc.), a full bathroom (with shower), a sleeping area with a comfortable queen-sized bed, dedicated (free) wi-fi, a smart TV, blue tooth sound system, and an eclectic library. Come enjoy the fresh air, sunsets, and the outdoors! You can explore the farm grounds, including a pond full of bass you can fish (catch and release), streams, and woods to explore. We even have a large field we turned into an unofficial soccer field!
