All guests are welcome to use all facilities on our property; including our backyard. The apartment is in the heart of historic uptown Kingston. It’s within walking distance of many of the sights of the uptown Stockade district of New York’s first capital. Explore the weekend farmers’ market, restaurants, museums, and music venues. The Bau Guesthouse is easily accessible by bus or by car. It is 7min walk from the Kingston Trailways bus stop and 5min drive from I-87 throughway exit 19. Parking on our street is metered Monday - Saturday 9am to 5pm. Also free street parking is available just around corner from us.

This unique, centrally located 500 sq ft ground-floor, 1.5 story apartment is in an ideal location to explore Rosendale and the surrounding areas. Located in a 1890s Brownstone, the Shack is a comfortable refurbished studio with hand hewn beams, brick walls and a wood burning stove. The Swan Cottage was built in 1923 and was fully renovated in 2020. The idyllic location, on a bluff overlooking the Hudson River, is the perfect perch to relax and get away from it all. The front porch is a nice spot to have a cup of coffee and watch the sailboats on the river, while the huge wraparound porch affords terrific views of the river as well as the forest that gives this home a feeling of being high in the tree tops.

Only a block from Kingston's bustling waterfront, the first floor apartment has an open concept living/dining area with French doors leading to the cozy bedroom. We've decorated with a collection of inherited antiques and gems from our travels and the kitchen has everything you need to cook a great meal.
