Jolly Nose, peace and tranquility near beach

Jolly Nose Hill is known locally for extensive walking and bike tracks. Rainbow Beach hosts regular surfing competitions. The Beach Hotel, 5 mins away, has a good menu and live music at weekends and the Nursery serves yummy breakfasts, both with fun play areas. Up the road in Port Macquarie, you’ll find shops, cafes and restaurants, Glasshouse Theatre, cinema, lighthouse, museums, Koala Hospital.. A little further up the road, but not much, is Stoney Park, an aqua park for both young and old.

Red Cedar Hideaway boasts a light filled airy open plan living space made from Australian timbers. The house is a pleasant 5 minute amble to Crescent Head Point, Main Beach, Killick Creek, shops and Country Club in the village of Crescent Head. It is a 3 minute walk to Backbeach via a bush path found at the bottom of our garden. We provide a breakfast basket with cereals, yoghurt and fresh fruit, as well as jam and butter.
