This fascinating small castle is close to the River Tummel, where you can fish for trout in season, and is full of character with a view over the river to Schiehallion mountain. Down by the riverbank there is a bonfire site where you can gather fallen branches and sit around the camp fire of an evening with family and friends. The garden is unenclosed so, being close to the river, small children should be supervised at all times. Dogs should be supervised when outside. There is a lovely walk along the river to the first hydro electric dam built in Scotland in the 1930s.

We are lucky to have a private shore, where you can sit amidst the rocks and trees, make a campfire or paddle in the loch . Rock Cottage's lounge with log burning stove is an ideal place to return to after taking part in outdoor sporting activities. Our grounds offer play, picnic and water areas. It is a great place to read or relax and watch the wildlife.

Situated on the south side of Loch Rannoch, The Garden Room is a wonderful remote retreat, comprising a compact self-contained annex room with a kitchenette, double bed and separate shower room. You’ll have sole use of the enclosed front garden, fresh eggs from our hens and one dog is welcome. A variety of birds are seen in our garden as well as the occasional red squirrel.
