Historic Kendal is known as the "Gateway to The Lakes" as Bowness & Windermere are an 8 mile drive away. Kendal Town Centre is a 20 min walk for the shops/Brewery Arts Centre/Bus & Kendal Rail Station. TRAVELLING: For guests travelling by rail - Oxenholme Rail Station is a 7 min taxi drive. J36 & J37 on the M6 are approx 10 min drive.

The Cart House, Hadrian's Wall country

The Cart House is self contained accommodation accessed via its own front door. It comprises of a comfortable lounge and a small kitchenette with fridge freezer, microwave, sink, airfryer, kettle, toaster and dining table. There is also have a one ring table top hob and a grill. A separate shower room leads off the lounge area. The bedroom includes a king size bed set in the alcove of the original stone entrance. The Old Potting Shed, cosy retreat with hot tub

The Old Potting Shed is a romantic hideaway for two set in the walled garden of the owners' house with its own private entrance. The retreat is totally secluded, but still just a minutes walk to Sedbergh's lovely pubs and cafes. It's the perfect base: head out walking in the hills straight from your door or use our electric bikes to explore the quiet lanes. When you get back, soak in the wood fired hot tub and enjoy a drink on the terrace while admiring the wonderful view of the fells.

Braeside Studios is a detached stone built building adjacent to our family home. We have 2 purpose built, self contained studios each with private entrance door, ensuite shower room, drying cupboard, mini breakfast kitchenette (fridge, sink, kettle, toaster) and seating area. Both our rooms are clean and contemporary and focus of comfort and practicality. The garden view room has a double bed and the riverside room has a king sized bed. You are welcome to share our garden.
