On Strawberry Creek in Idyllwild's historic district, the Owl Pine Guest Cabin was built in 1922. It's the best of both worlds w/ plenty of nature (burbling creek, rock paths, trees, birds, mountain air, stars) + close to civilization (the property is near restaurants/shops). Native rock fireplace, hot tub, eclectic art, record collection/player, games, books, TV, Wifi, BBQ, fire pit hang deck. We have a chicken coop, happy to leave eggs at the cabin upon request. Welcome to our piece of paradise in the pines! Recently renovated rustic chic cabin featuring all new furnishings, organic linens, raised wood beam ceilings & numerous windows! Welcome to DTWild. Your much needed mountain escape. Our newly renovated, retro fabulous, mcm cabin rests on a magnificent property w/ a flowing creek in your backyard. Say what? Yup. A creek. Like with water. And rocks. And fishies. At DTWild you can soak in the hot tub, rekindle by the fire, bbq, ping pong under the pines, nap in the hammock, stargaze, explore, watch movies, work if you must, play games, namaste it up, dance it off, play in the snow, howl at the moon, and yes we have Wifi.

Curl up by the fireplace and enjoy surround-sound tunes, or have a spa-like soak after hitting the nearby trails. As a creative couple ourselves, we designed this space for romantic getaways and creative retreats.

Ceiling to floor windows look out at the surrounding mountains & jaw-dropping rock cliffs. An expansive, open cabin feel.

Zen Mid Century Cabin

A Zen retreat on a quiet dead end street, 4 mins drive from downtown. Perfect for a retreat, a quiet romantic get away for two, or for a family, or four close freinds. Enjoy nature, relax and see the cute town! This is a mid century private home with nice amenities, not a usual rental unit. The street is beautiful & backs up to a national forrest. There is another cabin next to this one, that sleeps two, that I also rent. NO Partiers! Quiet Hrs 10pm-7am.
