Here you can start your mountain tour right outside the door, both in summer and winter. From the cabin it is 4 km to the car park at Spranget, and from there it is approx. 7 km to the DNT cabin Rondvassbu, the heart of Rondane. If you want to combine the mountain tour with a day of rafting in Sjoa, it is only a 30-minute drive from the cabin. The cabin can also be a base for those who like to fish in Lågen or in some of the many mountain waters in Rondane. From the "whiskey bench" or barbecue area at the cabin you have a lovely view of Jotunheimen to the west and Svinslåberget to the south. In the center of Otta you will find many grocery stores, restaurants and shops. The center of Otta is about a 20-minute drive from the cabin. Should you feel like being served a meal on the mountain, you can get it at Rondane Fjellstue, which is about 500 meters from the cabin. During the school holidays, there is also a small grocery store and a cafe in the center of Mysusæter 600 meters from the cabin. Opening times depend on the season, so check in advance if it is open, we recommend shopping at Otta. There is a road all the way through summer and winter. Parking is in a designated space 30 meters from the cabin. In winter, the road to the cabin is plowed on Fridays and Sundays, from 1 December until after Easter. It is also plowed during the Christmas holidays, New Year, winter holidays and Easter. If you arrive on a weekday and it has snowed since the last plowing, you can park for a fee in the car park at Mysusæter, and walk about 600 meters to the cabin. If the road is not open, transport by scooter can be ordered in advance from the Mysusæter service centre. The cabin has installed water, sewage and electricity. The cabin is partially heated all year round with heating cables in the bathroom and a panel oven in the living room. The cabin has a soapstone fireplace and a wood-burning stove, and we make sure it's wood available. In the main cabin, there are no separate bedrooms, but two sleeping alcoves. The alcoves are divided into a double bed alcove and in the other alcove there is a bunk bed. In addition, there is an annex with a family bunk with room for three. Bed linen/towels must be brought. Washing must be done by the guests. Smoking not allowed. Animals are most welcome, but not in the beds. There is running water in the bathroom, in the kitchen there is only a sink. From the parking lot, there is a small hill of about 20 meters to the cabin, manageable for everyone in normal condition, but if you have difficulty walking, you might need help. Guests must clean the cabin themselves, and there is a detailed description of how the cleaning should be done, so expect that this will take some time

Viking farm, Sygard Listad. King Olav stayed 1021.

Velkommen til Viking-gården Sygard Listad. Her bor du på historisk grunn. Viking-kongen Olav den Hellige bodde her i 1021, for å forberede slaget mot kongen i Gudbrandsdalen. Dette skjedde under kristninga av Norge. På gården finnes den hellige brønnen "Olavskilden". Kjøreavstand til Oslo er 250 km og det samme til Trondheim. Her kan du dra på ski i Hafjell, Kvitfjell, Gålå, nasjonalparken Jotunheimen eller Rondane. Om sommer kan du se Peer Gynt, moskus-safari eller dagstur til Geiranger.

Koselig hytte på Reiremo

Denne koselige hytta ligger på småbruket Reiremo som ligger i inngangen til Heimfjellet. Det er 6 km til Lalm fra her, og 6 km ned til Heidal. Hytta er omringet av nydelig natur med turmuligheter til alle kanter. Det er også et omfattende løypenett med oppkjørte skiløyper ikke langt fra hytta. Området har også jakt og fiskemuligheter. Hytta har seks sengeplasser, et rom med familiekøye og en enkelseng og et rom med en dobbelseng, og ellers det man trenger for å nyte et opphold hos oss.

The house is idyllically located by the river Glomma in Alvdal. Just a few steps from the house, you can fish, swim or sit and relax in front of the outdoor fireplace. Gården Strandheim befinner seg 532 m.o.h i Kjøremsgrende, helt sør i fjellbygda Lesja. Gården produserer melk og kjøtt og ligger i rolige omgivelser med vakker natur, dyreliv og fjell. Elva Lågen i umiddelbar nærhet byr på fine muligheter for bading og fluefiske i vår sone. Kort avstand til bl.a Dovrefjell og Dombås. Dere har stabburet for dere selv. Vi bor på et lite småbruk med husdyr og kjøkkenhage. I utkanten av tunet på gården står det en enebolig fra 1979. Huset er familievennlig og har flott utsikt. Vi leier ut 3 soverom og tilhørende fellesrom september til juni og 5 soverom i juli og august. Med naturreservat og 5 nasjonalparker rundt oss på alle kanter er det et godt utgangspunkt å legge ferien hit. Flott turterreng, kort veg til Grimsdalen en seterdal med frittgående husdyr og et rikt plante og dyreliv.
