While Marja's place is rented at a good price and the flat is nice, I'm not sure that I can really recommend it. Nothing about the flat itself was a big issue, but the other guest/booty call that showed up at 11 pm one night was definitely an issue for me. She was in the shower when the buzzing for the door started. There wasn't a chance in the world that I would let someone in at that hour. Nowhere was it disclosed that there would be a third person in the apartment (or sharing the bathroom in the morning). I wasn't told about him and she was very surprised when I asked in the morning if he would be there every night. Thankfully, I got a laptop lock before I left so I knew that would be ok, and took my passport and extra cash with me each day (there's not a lock on the bedroom door). Whoever he was, was not vetted through Airbnb and I wasn't taking any chances with my valuables.
Alone you can do anything you like in your own home. I would never have a surprise guest, romantic or otherwise, if my friends or family were staying with me, much less if I had a paying guest staying with me. The comfort of my guest is paramount and I was truly uncomfortable by this scenario.
The flat itself was fine, reasonably clean. If you have heavy luggage, you'll probably want to stay elsewhere, as it's quite a trek up the stairs. If you can manage fine, then you're good to go. The bedroom window faces the street, which gets very noisy. Even with my earplugs in, I wound up shutting it every night and still needed the earplugs in. If you're going in summer, this may be more of an issue than in wintertime.
Conveniently, the flat is right next to a tram stop, so you can easily get on/off #81 with your luggage to the stop in front of Gare Midi.
The neighborhood is alright. However, I got back very late, around 10/10:30 from an excursion and walked from Gare Midi to the flat. I was pretty nervous there alone at night. Take the tram if you'll be out late.
You'll want to bring a full-size towel, only hand and washcloth sizes were provided. Also, I forgot to mention to her, it will help a lot to have a bag or two with you to use for trash. I took it back and forth from my room to the bathroom as there was not a can in either place. There was a large one down the stairs in the kitchen, but when leaving the bathroom, I don't really want to have to transport certain items around, or have to leave the bedroom for a used tissue.
I hope this review is helpful for future guests and for Marja.
