After briefing you the program and routing, we jump in a jeep and drive to the countryside passing by the local market, Hindu temple, lotus pond, Buddhist temple, duck farm and vegetable farm etc… Drive through Phsar Krom, which is a local everyday market. First stop at Wat Athvea, a Hindu temple built the same time of Angkor Wat. Drive along the back road where you can see the duck farms and lotus farm before a short stop at Wat Pokrom, learn about Buddhism in Cambodia through the painting, the statues or you may also interact directly with monks. Continue driving through Chreav village, where you will see rice fields, birds, water buffalo, lotus pond & Khmer typical houses. Walk through the village and you get the chance to interact with local peoples, observe their organic vegetable gardens and daily activity of the local people. Last stop at the rice field with for a great photo opportunity of the animal, birds and the landscape of the countryside, drinks are served on the spot while you enjoy watching the sunset. Quad Bike Ride Explore Local Villages
We will pick you up at your hotel around 4:40 pm to bring you to the starting point of your tour where your quad Bike waiting for you ready to go. Heading out of the city using local roads and passing a traditional Khmer village and we will arrive in time at the rice paddy to watch the sunset. After the sun went down there is still enough day light to see more rice paddies with water buffalo grazing and other wildlife on the way back to the starting location of the tour. There transportation will wait for you to bring you back to your hotel. The tour is set up that even inexperienced people with quad bike have no problem to join and have fun with this experience. For insecure drivers we offer them a driving training before the experience starts.

We'll make 6 stops which include a LOT of food and drinks at a selection of sit-down restaurants, street-food stalls, a local market, and a cafe. Here's what we'll do: You will be picked up at your hotel by tuktuk. Coffee & Noodles: Start your morning sipping on some local coffee served alongside a bowl of savory noodle soup at a local hang-out that’s been serving the neighborhood breakfast for over 15 years. Local Wet Market: Stroll through a bustling open-air wet market, try what’s in-season, and walk away with a handmade souvenir…on us! Along the way, meet Sister Mao who sources freshly grown herbs to create her own fresh curry paste. Pork & Rice: Grab a plastic chair to visit Brother Salin and his family-run shop that freshly grills pork & rice served with homemade pickles and a rich bowl of soup. Savory Turmeric Crepes: Freshly made with rice milk and turmeric, and then stuffed with ground pork, and dried shrimp before wrapped by hand with lettuce and local herbs. I will introduce you to the types of vegetables grown and the day-to-day routine of local farmers. Get insights into agricultural activities from those who toil on other land. You will see the produce grown by our farmers who will be at work, tilling the land, drying/packaging their product, and selling them on the side of the road to the middlemen who will take them to the markets. Stop 3: Buddhist temple. Learn a little about our religion Hinduism, influenced Buddhism. See how the monks go about their daily chores and duties. Find out about how we celebrate births and prepare for funerals. Stop 4: Local Food sampling. Stop by a family that makes bamboo sticky rice and sells sugarcane juice. You can try local fruits such as rambutan, and mango. Learn about how this is made. Stop 5: Lotus field. Have a nice cool beer on me. Taste lotus seeds and finds out about the many uses of the lotus plant. *Note The tour does not require a temple pass. Difficulty level: Easy (Cyclist doesn't need to have a certain level of fitness, mostly flat terrain) We commend you for wearing light cotton clothes, because of the hot and humid weather and we recommend you for wearing cloths can be dirt with muddy water in rainy season.
