“TIP: go to the west side, it’s where the locals prefer. Much nicer than the painted ladies if you look closely at the architecture and flora. ”

“Generally our hipster district, the Mission is really a mish-mash of culture ranging from immigrants, long term residents, hipsters and yuppies are living side-by-side. It's known for it's wide range of food, ranging from high-end restaurants to authentic taquerias. Spend your time tasting coffee, exploring fancy cocktails, to enjoying all the colorful street art and murals in the area.”

“Bernal Heights is a residential neighborhood located in the southeastern area of San Francisco. It is 3 miles from downtown SF with easy access to both the 101 and 280 freeways. The Muni bus #67 runs through Bernal Heights offering direct access to the 24th and Mission BART (subway station). The neighborhood is hilly but extremely walk-able with many coffee shops , bars, restaurants, retail stores and a brewery on the neighborhood's main commercial street Cortland Avenue. The neighborhood circles towering Bernal Hill, a public park closed to automobiles with 360 degree vistas of all of San Francisco including downtown, the bay, and the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges. (Up top near the transmission tower is a tree swing--a great photo opportunity to catch yourself flying over the downtown vista.) The park is a great place to jog or walk and is a favorite of dog walkers. At sunrise and sunset you may even see the 2 resident coyotes (please do not feed them).”

This makes it easy to walk around, strolls along the beach trails, the Marina filled with beautiful boats, into the presidio Park and shop on Chestnut street which is always buzzing with people. It has all you need form grocery store, supermarket, cleaners, boutiques, banks, various restaurants, bars, bookstore, pharmacy etc... Its also close to hospitals, urgent care. The muni bus system (especially #30) is great and inexpensive to go around the city.”
