If you can't catch a show the park is still a beautiful place to go for a day hike. Not far from the house (about a 15-20 minute drive) and the views are spectacular! JUst don't forget to bring water!

Spectacular drive up Trail Ridge Road will take your breath away on multiple occasions! Absolutely beautiful road that is season since it summits close to 12,000 feet. Great for viewing wildlife in the summer and a must for families. About a 3-hour drive to the park from the house, but on a nice day the drive to the park showcases the best of Colorado!
