My favorite restaurants
There's so much good food in Lexington and a lot of it is in walking distance!
County Club is primarily known for its smoked meat, but as someone who doesn't eat a lot of meat, I always find loads of stuff I want to eat there. Sunday Brunch is fabulous (there's often a wait on Sundays if you don't show up right when they open at 11 am, but it moves fast and you can walk across the street to West Sixth Brewing to have a beer or locally-made soda while you wait!). The Vietnamese Brussel sprouts on their dinner menu are MY FAVORITE THING EVER.

Lovely vibe, great Latin American-inspired food, awesome margaritas! I love the cauliflower tacos, chicken chicharon, and salsa trio!

My favorite sushi place in Lexington, especially on Saturday nights when Sugano-san, Lex's most beloved sushi chef and retired restaurant owner presents a special tapas-style menu! It's amazing!

Really great beer, fun atmosphere, family-friendly. I work behind the bar here -- come say hi! We do free tours of the facility (there's a lot going on in the building besides brewing beer -- aquaponic garden, bike cooperative, etc) on Saturdays at 2 pm and 4 pm and Sundays at 2 pm!
