Terrific little Cornish port town - quaint and beautiful, with nice walks nearby plus lots of great options to eat. Also has a market 3 times a week during summer selling arts and crafts.

There's a reason it's called Birdies - it's on the Hayle estuary which is a popular bird watching locaiton!
The food is great and the views are great - it's very popular with twitchers and well worth a visit!

Beautiful town, but can be hard to find parking - better to walk there (from Carbis Bay) along the South West Coastal Path - a great path with wonderful views of St Ives as you approach.
