Big Bear Zoo
This Zoo is very educational to young and old it’s a different kind of Zoo, all my grandchildren have been brought up going every year to see the newer animals and watch the rehabilitation of some that will be set free
They provide a safe and loving “Home for Life” for animals which cannot be released back into the wild and provides for a higher quality of care for those that can.

The Discovery Center has so much information about trails to hike, about wildlife,
Local Plants and Trees.
The Rangers are very helpful your kids can also earn ranger stickers learning about Big Bear.
My Grandkids love the Rangers here they are very helpful always answering all their questions
I love it because they help me to get the information for my guest that stay at my cabin..... like Hiking day passes or eagle spotting
