While we are 2.8 miles from the nearest pier- Manhattan Beach. I would recommend renting bikes or roller skates for the day. Uber to Hermosa Beach pier to rent bikes from Hermosa Cyclery. It is very convenient! They have a handy map that tells you how long it will take to get to the different beach cities. http://www.hermosacyclery.com/
