Within 10 minutes of walking you'll arrive at our local pub and greasy spoon. Perfect for après ski, and Spring time or Summer lounging. Our kids love the Shirley Temple refills! Wait times can be upward of an hour on the weekend. But with home made appetizers in our bellies prior to making the short trek over, and a timeless mountain time mindset, it's worth catching the fun vibe. They have a summer concert serie too! If you end up walking there like we do, look out for fast moving traffic on the small stretch on Boards Crossing Road towards Highway 4, and, while crossing Highway 4.

This is our favorite mom & pop - owned bakery in the area, 20 minutes driving distance away. Grab your grub, and enjoy it at the park behind the Murphys Hotel. Their hours and week days of operation are very limited, so be sure to check them first.

We love their Summer back yard concerts, coffee and brunches. Lots of space outdoors. We recently discovered their dinner BBQ platters, which are not only a very good deal, but also to die for!

Our favorite micro brew pub. They have a small selection of sandwiches, appetizers and board games too. And lots of seating outside. It's kind of hidden, as it's located in the back of a winery. But very much worth the find!

After antique shopping (or a Walmart run), descend one flight of stairs to this lovely restaurant. It's the creek view that drew us in. Their stonebowl food is delicious!

We like to call this our private swimming/BBQ-ing/beach playing and lounging lake, but the truth is, you'll have to walk a short stretch to get there. Our beach chairs will come in handy! A fun fact about our cabin is, dat you can see a shallow well right next to our property, that feeds into Snowshoe Springs.
