Ronda, Andalucia

Just one hour from the apartment in Puente Romano, you can visit this historic city in one day. The Ronda road was improved during the pandemic and the once trecherous windy road in fact feels much safer. It is still curvy, but widened at the sharpest turns. However, if you don't want to drive the Avanza bus service from San Pedro is brilliant. Check the departure time, but around 9:40 am the bus sets off to Ronda bus station. Cost about 6 Euros each way. Comfy seats and wifi on the bus.

Sightseeing

The Arab baths are at the bottom of the city which sits atop the striking gorge. You can walk down and up, but the incline is significant and the round trip plus visit will take at least two hours, so you can take a taxi.
