Summer fun
Fantastic day trip for the entire family. Inexpensive and great fun. My grandchildren love to do this every summer at least once! Anytime i have family or friends visit the area, i take them down the lazy river. Make sure you book in advance and arrive early so you do not miss the bus. Take sunscreen. You can take the river at your own speed, 2.5 - 4 hours. I recommend life jackets for the kids....

Family favorite beach! We love that there are Sandy Beaches, one of them we can take our dogs as well. There are also grassy areas, parking restrooms and lifeguards (check for life guard times) Boat launch area for Kayaks and canoes....not sure about motorized boats, you need to check this yourself. local artists have outdoor art on display here as well.

Y Jackson, one of the group of seven Canadian Painters travelled to this are to capture the beauty. So beautiful, worth the drive and the effort. We love going to Onaping, if you are making this trip, aslo check out Windy LAke Provincial Park.
