We love to walk and if you're game, pretty much anything in Hoboken is walkable. It's about a 20 minute walk straight up to Washington Street, where EVERYTHING is. Restaurants, bars, coffee shops, Sephora, Anthro, Lulu, Hoboken General store, boutiques, some fantastic people watching and a great way to take in the essence of Hoboken. Walk straight out of the door across the street and up 5th to Washington. (It's only 9 blocks up). Or a super quick Uber ride. There are quite a few great spots just a block or two as well if you're looking for something close too!
