Sightseeing
Vail is one of my favorite places to visit! There is something for everyone. Skiing is just a short 1.5-2 hour drive and during mud season and summer the gondola is open to the top of the mountain where you will find a trampoline. rock climbing wall, 3 story obstacle course and a small one for small children, zip line, tubing and hiking/biking trails. Not to mention the great restaurant options and shopping on cobble stone streets build to resemble a swiss village.

There is a saying in Colorado...."Don't like the weather, wait 15 minutes!" This is so true. One minute can be sunny and warm, the next you are running for shelter from an afternoon thunderstorm. I recommend layering because you truly can experience all 4 seasons in one day!
