What to do if you find a seal, whale or dolphin on the beach
Please do NOT handle seals, they look very sweet but they will attack if provoked, no matter how emaciated and exhausted they look. Please do NOT return them to the water, they have come ashore for a reason and you may be sentencing them to death.
Preferred course of action:
Take a photo as close as you can without disturbing the animal
Call one of the contacts below. Alert other beach goers that there is a seal, whale or dolphin on the beach and to give it a wide berth
