Their designer café offers good food and treats. Find interesting gifts in the gallery shop.
After a visit to the gallery a quick walk along Schoolhill will take you to the beautiful Marischal College. You could also visit Provost Skene House to learn about the influential people of the north-east before stopping off at BrewDog (on Gallowgate) or All Bar One for food and drink or if you have the kids, Mackies 19.2 Cafe is a treat and the kids can run around the courtyard while you rest!

Over four floors the modern, fully-accessible museum building and the historic 16th century Provost Ross’s House showcase ship models from 1689 to the present, whaler’s harpoons and scrimshaw, rare examples of medieval imported goods, a complete lighthouse lens assembly and the entire deck of a historic steamer.

Don’t miss the Horn of Leys, given to the Burnett family in the 14th century by Robert the Bruce.
