The La Luz Trail is a popular hiking trail located on the west face of the Sandia Mountains near Albuquerque, New Mexico. The trail begins at the La Luz Trailhead and proceeds approximately eight miles to either Sandia Crest or the Sandia Peak Tramway. La Luz trail gives you panoramic views of Albuquerque. As you hike you are treated to ever-changing views of cliffs and trees and wildflowers. This is a challenging route, please do research first if you'd like to check this out!
