Polkerris Beach is around 10 minutes drive from the house. A sheltered, sandy beach popular with families it has a beach cafe, "Sams on the Beach" restaurant and "The Rashleigh Inn" pub. Sandy/pebble cove which is always quiet even in high season as it can only be reached by walking due to there being no car parking available. A walk inland from Caerhayes and back along the coastal path is highly recommended. No facilities so take a picnic!
