This place was one of my highlights in Da Nang. The path to the hotel was jaw dropping, and the views of the water on the way up to the hotel was gorgeous. It was such a wonderful backdrop to our meal.
As soon as you walk in, the staff is super attentive, and offers you champagne. Then they start you off with an amuse bouche before you order your meal. Apparently, the amuse bouche is a specialty of chef Pierre Gagnaire, and offered at his other restaurants as well. It was really nice start to our evening meal. During our visit, they were only doing their set course meals, but I understand they sometimes have an a la carte menu available as well. We chose to do the 4 course, and we walked away stuffed. Everything was brought out perfectly timed, and the service was exceptional. If we had any questions, the staff was readily available without being overbearing. My two favorite dishes were the lobster and the grand dessert, but the whole experience was very magical. One of the highlights of our visit was when we asked about the music that they were playing in the background, and before we left, they wrote us out a list of the songs that played while we were there. Now, we listen to those songs just to remind us of our wonderful trip.
Of course, since this restaurant features Pierre Gagnaire, a michelin starred chef, the prices are far beyond the prices you would see anywhere else in Vietnam. In a country with so much good food, we debated about our reservation here. But I think it was definitely worth it.

We went for my girlfriend's birthday lunch, they made us feel very welcome and had the table ready and presented in a nice way.
Service was very quick and the food was excellent (we had two golden steak + homemade burger)
The staff were very good, friendly and always smiling our waitress was Duong, she was fantastic.
And the cherry on the cake they sang happy birthday to my girlfriend and gave her a cake.
