Food scene
To get a great feel for Burleigh, Tarte is a lovely European style bakery and cafe. I can never go past the miso scrambled eggs. just a heads up - it is huge. The coffee at Tarte is always delicious as well!

Authentic Japanese cuisine and whisky bar. Try the sizzling steak as well as the sashimi and sushi. Its a vibrant buzzy restaurant - great for a casual dinner. Usually need to book.

If you're feeling like a burger, go no further. Ze pickle have totally nailed burgers! I can never go past "ya mum"! The sweet potato fries are really good too.
There is also a great wine list and cocktails and very close to both my listings, so very handy.

Great hole in the wall coffee shop. The service is always quick and the coffee is fab. Some say the best in Burleigh, but I will let you decide as it's hard to find a bad coffee in Burleigh.

Great shopping if it's raining as everything is under cover. All big brands except no Zara. H&M has a good homewares section though.

Fabulous store full of delightful homewares - largely from Morocco and India. Amazing rugs, gorgeous hats, linen clothing and various decorative objects. Definitely worth a look.

If you're planning to do some fine dining whilst in Burleigh, it's always best to book the above restaurants as they are really busy, particularly during weekends and school holidays. Most other places you can just walk in, but if it's weekend or school holidays, probably best to book if you have a particular place in mind.
