Oakridge is a single-track mountain biking paradise. Its about a 45 minute drive away. There is a brewery, a dairy queen, and a few other restaurants in town. This is a great day-trip option. There are a bunch of highlights between here and there including the Goodman Trail system, Dexter Lake, Lowell, and Westfir.

A great day trip to the Coast. If its too hot for you in Eugene, head over there. Great beaches and rocky coasts for tide pool exploring. Nice hiking trails near Cape Perpetua and nice restaurants in Old Town.
