One of my favorite places to dine outdoors (inside is nice too). Great pizza, sandwiches, and my favorite place to order french fries (crisp and very tasty). Of course, another great microbrewery.

Coffee bar (locally roasted) plus many other local shops inside this former elementary school. Small town country experience unique to our area. Also one of the best thrift stores I've been to.

Lynchburg makes a great day trip, about 45 minutes drive. This little tea room is one of my favorites in the area. Serve traditional afternoon tea as well as entrees/salads/sandwiches/desserts. Great little tea house!!!

The Appalachian Trail crosses at Reeds Gap just 5 miles from the cabin. The is one of my favorite hikes in the area and is the mountain just behind the cabin. Some others include: Spy Rock, Crabtree Falls, Humpback Rocks, The Priest, Moorman River and Swimming Hole, Paul's Creek, White Rock Falls. Ask me about recommendations for your duration and hiking level preferences.
