Bike Batavia is Best!
Batavia is pedestrian and bicycle friendly, so plan to walk or rent a bicycle from the downtown bike share. The Fox River Bicycle Trail is less than 1/2 mile from Four Hawks for great walking and bicycling loops throughout the Fox Valley. Yes, you can drive your car as well, but you won't see nearly as much. Public transportation via Pace Bus is available but not highly regular. Trains to downtown Chicago run regularly from downtown Geneva, just 5 minutes north of us.

About a 3/4 miles from Four Hawks is the Batavia Riverwalk, a linear park built by volunteers over 8 years. This award-winning park is home to outdoor concerts, a playground, a boardwalk, a pavilion, and natural areas ready to be discovered.

Batavia is a western suburb of Chicago, IL (the windy city), and our seasonal temperatures can change quickly. Pack layers of clothing, and don't forget your snow boots and snow shovel in the winter months (December - March).
