If you like to indulge in craft beers I highly recommend this establishment. Their burgers are terrific. This is a sister restaurant of Boonies in Tyaskin. Nice river views as well in downtown Salisbury.

I am an ice cream lover and highly recommend Island Creamery. Unbelievable great tasting flavors such as Almond Joy and another that is Bourbon infused with chocolate. They have additional locations in the shore areas.

Sightseeing
The longest beach in the area. Walk through part of the forest with the Loblolly pines and down the embankment to the beach. If you walk along the beach you will reach the " point" where two beaches intersect.
View fantastic water views of part of the Bay and you are almost certain to feel a breeze on your face.

Fishing- Crabbing, Kayaking, Sunbathing
Tyaskin Park is directly across from the Cottage and has a large pier that you can crab or fish off of. No permits are needed but you must follow state rules for size and limit of both fish and crabs.
There is a small beach that some guests use for launching their kayaks or canoes.
Also used to just lie on or sit in a chair and sunbath .

Marina- Long or short term slip rentals.
If you have a large boat and want to rent a slip this is the closest place to the Cottage as it is just over two miles away.

Some guests enjoy spending a day at Assateague Island and seeing the wild horses that legend states were on a Spsnish ship that had landed on a sandbar and the ship broke apart but many of the horses made it to shore and have thrived for over hundreds of years.
