This is an original, impressive ADK camp that has been restored and made accessible to the public. Please check out the DEC website for more information. You might be allowed to use the kayaks from the boat house and enjoy a quiet, unique paddle on Newcomb lake. Approx. 45 min. ride.

This is a 1.1 mile DEC trail up Severance Mtn. Great vista from the top! This is a good trail for very young children as well. Access the DEC parking across from Route 9 on the north side of town, more or less across from Alder Meadow Route. Might need to bring some bug spray during the summer.
