Moontower is right around the corner and has a huge outdoor space that's kind of like a wooded grove with a ton of picnic tables and twinkly lights. The bar itself is tiny but charming and they often have live music and a food truck or two around the place.

Peche is our favorite for truly unique and fabulous cocktails. They aren't cheap, but if you sit at the bar and chat with the bar staff, you will usually end up learning really interesting things about the drinks, what new in liquor and the industry. They also have the advantage of being located next to Cedar Street and across from Rain if you want to go dancing afterward (with grownups, the younger set gravitate mostly toward 6th street).
