A tiny local "Izakaya" that serves mostly "kushi katsu" or deep fried stuff on sticks. Fried beef, pork, or any variety of veggies served with a communal bucket of sauce. Remember, no double dipping!

Delicious sushi place with a friendly chef and mid-tier prices. Oddly enough they also serve American-style sushi rolls such as the "Obama-roll" and the "Nixon-roll". Seriously!

Kyoto's largest onsen/ super sento / public bath. Relax in the many baths and saunas, get a massage, lunch, even a haircut for only ¥800/day entrance fee. Sex segregated, bathing suits prohibited.
