At Grove Park Inn, this place has AWESOME mountain and sunset views with yummy food at a decent price. Pretty romantic, but also fun for families because you can walk around Grove Park Inn and enjoy the ice cream, toy stores, fire places, etc... This place is our #1 favorite date night in town.

If you like beer, you obviously need to check out the massive national craft beer brewery that is only a 3 minute walk from your suite! This place has very cool FREE tours that include local history and FREE BEER. Yummy food trucks every night of the week. Very family and pet friendly, as they have a big field for playing. Be warned that they close early, 8 pm.

This place has very cool FREE tours that include local history and FREE BEER. Yummy food trucks every night of the week. Very family and pet friendly, as they have a big field for playing. Be warned that they close early, 8 pm.
Parks & Nature
You're a 10 minute drive from the parkway, and after 15 minutes on it you're close to 5000'. Instead of going to the visitor center, get on the parkway at Bent Creek (off I-26) and head south up to Mt. Pisgah and beyond for the best views.

Our favorite big hike in the area. The drive takes you through some beautiful parts of the parkway, and the area features waterfalls, lovely trails, swimming holes, and tons of blueberry and blackberry bushes when in season.

Blue Ridge ParkwayOur favorite big hike in the area. The drive takes you through some beautiful parts of the parkway, and the area features waterfalls, lovely trails, swimming holes, and tons of blueberry and blackberry bushes when in season.
If you want a place nearby to jog or take a long walk in a park, this area has plenty of river-side trails within 5 minutes of your suite. If you want a more super cool scenic area for your visit, head to the mountains instead!
