I don't drink alcohol, but they have very high quality bottled juices that I adore. Pear being my juice of choice.
Good place to play cards with friends, meet new people, have a date, whatever. It's fab.

Getting Around
Train station is about a 20 minute walk to my house or about a 7 minute bus ride. The number 4 and 9 pick up in front of the Gare and will drop you about a half a block from my building.

This is about a block from my house. Very easy to get to. Clean and well kept facility. Different sized washing machines. Can pay with cash or credit card.

The locals swear by this place. Good for finding local, good quality traditional foods of France and specifically this region.
If you're here on a Friday, there's a market along ave Jean Juares that's all the rage too.

Sightseeing
This is why people come to Nimes at all, to be honest. And it's well worth the visit for this alone. It's the best preserved Roman arena in all of Europe. If you come during the Roman Games, you can go in and watch re-enactments of ancient Roman battles. The gladiators walking the streets of Nimes will leave you breathless. ;)
