right off Marker street, not far from my place but take Uber as it's a 25 min walk otherwise. Deceptive name but incredibly authentic and amazing sushi and service. Total under-the-radar hole-in-the-wall. No reservations taken so be prepared to wait an hour or more but fun bars nearby to chill in while you wait (worth it).

1815 Market Stright off Marker street, not far from my place but take Uber as it's a 25 min walk otherwise. Deceptive name but incredibly authentic and amazing sushi and service. Total under-the-radar hole-in-the-wall. No reservations taken so be prepared to wait an hour or more but fun bars nearby to chill in while you wait (worth it).
my favorite local spot in the Castro, they reserve a few seats for walk-ins and the food & service are memorably good
