One of the first public parks of the world, Városliget (also referred to as City Park) with Castle,lake and swans. The renaissance theater-like building of Széchenyi Bath is the perfect destination if we want to spend the day in thermal water, while the Zoo and the Circus both await children with various exciting programs. During the summer, we can take a boat and row on the Városliget Lake. The pond is turned into an ice-rink in the winter, and after skating, we can have a warm drink at Városliget Café. The Museum of Fine Arts and the Kunsthalle on the opposite sides of Heroes’s Square, one of Hungary's World Heritage sites, provide entertainment for the lovers of arts.

In addition to farmers’ tables and display cabinets, numerous catering units, fine bakeries, as well as traditional artisans and suppliers will await customers seven days a week. We highly recommend to try the pancakes on the frist floor.

Gozsdu Courtyard (Gozsdu Udvar) was a row of buildings with a series of inner courtyards connecting Király utca and Dob utca, with apartments on the top floors, and small shops and workshops on the ground floor. Recent renovations converted the old passageway into a modern residential and entertainment complex with some great restaurants and pubs. In addition, there's GOzsdU BAzaar (GOUBA), a popular, open-air Sunday market held here from March to October.

Kertész utca 33. used to function as a fireplace (kandalló) store, hence the name of Kandalló Artisanal Pub (Kandalló Kézműves Pub). The resourceful handicraft design and the fire behind the bar guarantee a cozy atmosphere, and it also helps that the staff are also quite friendly and care about our satisfaction – even the chef comes out every once in a while to entertain the guests. However, Kandalló is more of a drinking place, with beers by the breweries Békésszentandrási, Rizmajer and Gyertyános, quality wines from Szemes, Szecskő, Szentesi, Károly Barta, and Géza Légli, and pálinka from Márkházy and Gyulai.

Furthermore, on Sundays we can also pop in for breakfast, while on any other days of the week we can devour delicious lunch specials as well.
