Fantastic place to eat. Great local food, fab atmosphere. Inside can sit by a fire or in the little library area. Special menu till 5pm, serves food all day long. Daytime outside is beautiful - family friendly, large lawn by a pond with outdoor chess and tables with umbrellas.

Great for it's food or just for a drink. Need to book table to eat - well in advance. Locally sourced, all made fresh on the spot. Famous for it's pizzas, but everything good.

Great place to climb/bouldering, nice atmosphere. Can rent gear there. 5 min. from my house.
Of course, dartmoor is also just around the corner for those who have their own gear - go out in nature!
