One of our favourites - lovely staff, inventive local and seasonal food, with an emphasis on fresh Catalan cooking - fish, soups, salads, + great wines. Very reasonably priced and always a winner. Go!

Small, quirky bar with tapas at the bar and a plate of olives waiting for you with your drink. Full of local colour and very charming with loads of stuff to look at while you're there!

Beautiful basilica, with wonderful views from the terraces. You won't have to pay to go in if you choose an evening or a Sunday to look around. It's worth a look.

A must do! Stroll, walk or jog along some of the 4.5km of Barna's beaches. All Barcelona life is here on a sunny day. Find the beach that suits you best, pitch up and have a beer or a mojito. Cheers!

A great insight into a great talent (and adopted Barcelonian). Housed in a beautiful medieval palace, even if the art doesn't move you, the building will!

Small but perfectly formed cava bar with light bites to eat. It's a big hit so arrive early (7.30/8) for a seat. The cava is delicious (and addictive!)
