Favourite Places to eat

Personally recommended & used by me and my friends. They won't all be perfect all of the time, but generally reliable!!
It is just the best place for gin cocktails, food & ambiance. Children are welcome and also dog-friendly.

Inside or out, this is such a cheerful place for a large (or small) breakfast, lunch, dinner or the Boully favourite - Fish & Chips. Just traditional food, served with a smile, large portions, and the most luscious desserts you can imagine. This is an absolute family favourite. Dogs are welcome, but have to stay outside in the courtyard tables. Jelly beans free at the till when you settle your modest bill.

A short drive to the end of the sailing village of Itchenor will bring you to this traditional village pub with its stylish decor. I love weekends in this place, the fire roaring, big tables to spread the paper, eavesdrop on the sailing gossip and just relax. Decent local beer and Sunday lunch is great. Dogs allowed in the restaurant (limited to some tables so ring ahead) but any table in the bar. Did I mention, the food is great?

Park near the entrance in the public car park and take the road to the right on foot, walk down past the boat park and along the marked footway down to the lock. Gongoozling is a favourite past time and there is no where better to watch the antics of a stressed skipper and his crew than peering down on them from the top of the lock. After crossing over, you will arrive at the Boathouse restaurant. Avoid peak hours as they are not the most organised of cafes, but the coffee is good..., then keeping the marina on the left continue to walk and you will arrive back at the parking.
