Great place to watch the ocean waves crash onto Ballycastle beach. A very cosy cafe with views from all sides. During warm days it is possible to sit outside overlooking the tennis courts and the mountain beyond. A good place to stop by after a walk along the beach for tea/coffee and hot sandwiches.

Book early for the Bushmills Inn for dinner, it is always busy as it is one of the best restaurants along the North Coast. It is only a 5 minute drive from here to the Giant's Causeway and Dunluce Castle. One of the World's greatest golf course is a 15 minute drive from Bushmills and next year will host the world's biggest Golf Tournament, The Royal Portrush. Expect to see all of the golfing greats there!

Parks & Nature

Walking along the top of the great precipice Fair Head is exhilarating. You will often see rock climbers on the shear walls of basalt into the Irish Sea. The views to Scotland and Rathlin Island are spectacular and inland to Knocklayd Mountain and the mountains of Donegal in the distance.

One of my favorite forest parks and rarely busy. I have walked in this park many time and often encountered no one. There are excellent pathways through the forest and a river that runs along the walkways.
