The Adelaide Parklands surround the City of Adelaide. The Parklands contain formal and informal spaces, playgrounds, and a walking and cycling trail. The are 930 hectares, and I walk or ride in them pretty much every day. They are listed on the Australian Heritage registry. They are a treasure to be explored!

There's lots of well signed walks in Cleland. There's great views down to Adelaide and the coast. The bush is beautiful and typical of the Mt Lofty Ranges. The Cleland Wildlife Park is a great way to get up close to Australian native animals.

There are a number of theatres, galleries and bars in the Festival complex by the River. The Centre is home to the Oz Asia Festival (my favourite) the Adelaide Festival, and the best Cabaret Festival in the world. There is easy access by tram from 51SQ
