Sightseeing Milan

All of the must-see sights in Milan
The main attraction in Milan. It is the fourth largest church in the world, and the largest in Italy (San Pietro is in Vatican City) it was not completed until 1965 after nearly 600 years of construction. The architecture of the cathedral is gothic is breathtaking, it is worth your time to enter the church. For a fee you can also go to the top of the building to get an up-close look at the details and a fantastic view of Milan.

Also known as Sforza Castle. Besides being an impressive and interesting point of interest, it also houses a few museums and art collections.

The architecture alone is gorgeous here, it is one of the most beautiful and oldest active shopping malls in Italy. The actual shopping is mostly limited to those with fat wallets as the stores consist of Prada, Gucci, Versace, Luisa Spagnoli and Armani. The shopping district that expands from the Galleria and Duomo has many more afforadable stores and is still very beautiful to walk through.

tarbucks and Howard Schultz wanted this place to be absolutely perfect because Italy was the inspiration for his vision of the company and it was important that Italians accept and love it. The actual bar of this place does a perfect job of combing classic Italian coffee culture and its drinks with some of the familiar parts of Starbucks culture. The menu is completely unique and limited. I was so excited to see Nitro brew on the menu and ordered a Nitro Chocolate Cream, which is basically the most delightful thing you'll ever drink. I was so impressed the despite how busy this place is, the baristas still chatted with me and other customers like it was a small coffee shop and were genuinely friendly. The building is stunning, the layout is well done and every detail is intentional and beautiful. Everything is pretty pricey, but that should not come as a surprise considering what and where this is.

The Navigli neighborhood is full of hip young people, bars, discos and late night restaurants. If you are looking for good nightlife, this is the place to go.

Caffes and Bars in Milan

Coffee, Pastries and Aperitivo
This caffe and pasticceria has a few unbeatable pastries, including my personal favorite; the pistachio maritozzo. Additionally, the layout and decor is gorgeous, and with great lighting it makes for a perfect Instagrammable caffe.

Located in my neighborhood, I was excited when I found such a cute caffe so close to home! The baristas are really friendly and speak some English. They have good coffee and also have a few lunch options.
