Perhaps the best restaurant around. It's why there is a line waiting every time they open their doors at 5pm. Located in Rock Island, this amazing restaurant serves cajun cuisine, steaks and seafood. They have a full service bar and outdoor seating that overlooks the river. Be sure to order the pretzel for an appetizer! Closed on Sunday and Monday. Seriously, get there when the doors open or be prepared to wait. And be sure to drive to the end of the road just beyond to see the waterfalls at Rock Island.

Our local fireman's bbq was so good, he started a food truck. Look for it in the Mapco parking lot at the corner of Hwy 56 and Hwy 70 (main red light in town). Be sure to try the ribs if he hasn't sold out.
