I recommend Arawak Csy, because there you can find many authentically Bahsmian Restuarants specializing in Bahamian dishes. They are open for Breakfast, lunch and Dinner. It is about a 15 mins walk from the apartment. (safe walking distance.)
You may be lucky to experience a Junkanoo Parade on special weekends or on holidays.

Sightseeing
Down Town Bay Street is sbout 30 minutes walk fom the apartment. (safe walking distance). There you can visit the World'ds Famous Straw Market and shop at a variety of famous shops, such as John Bull and Pandora.

I recommend Atlantis, because there is so much to see and do at Atlantis. Guests can tour one of the largest Fish Aquarium in the world. Also, guest can tour Marina Village where there is a lot to see and do. In addition, there is a Junkanoo Parade every Friday night starting at 9:30 pm.
Atlantis , however, is not in walking distance. Guests will have to rent a car or get a taxi cab.
