This is an easy walk from the parking - but the road up is rough and needs a truck or 4-wheel drive. ... but the views of Linville Gorge are spectacular! The Linville Gorge Wilderness ("The Grand Canyon of North Carolina") is located in the Pisgah National Forest and is the third largest wilderness area in North Carolina.

The Pisgah National Forest has many well known Hiking trails for all levels of difficulty.
You can use Google Maps and search: Hiking Trails near me - and you will get a nice list of trails and how far they are from our property, as well as reviews about them.
There’s also a great App- called: All Trails - that has a free version, and rates them by difficulty and length.
