If you have time, we'd really recommend hiring a car and driving over the top of the island, and then back over to Start Grad. It's got a long promenade, lined with restaurants, and is a great place for a break and a spot of lunch.

Food scene
If you're on a bike, or car, this is a great stop off for lunch between Stari Grad and Jelsa. Wonderful food, and a great setting, with fantastic wines. It's well worth a visit if you're in the area and feeling a little peckish. It's best to book in advance.

Volkswagen Beatles for hire
My own personal favourite is to rent an old Volkswagen Beatle do get around the island. They are soft top, and a great way to see the island.
